Dave Dillon teaches many of the core Ministry courses and serves as the School of Ministry Chair 

Dave has focused most of his career in Adult Education and Training. He has been affiliated with Williamson since April, 2000; when he taught his first course for the College. Through the years Dave has taught many Biblical Studies and Ministry Training courses as well as Leadership, Organizational and General Studies ones. In addition to teaching, he has also been involved in curriculum design, course development and technology support.  In recent years Dave joined the Executive Faculty and currently serves as Chair of the Ministry Leadership Department.

Beyond Williamson College, Dave has experience in every domain of youth and adult education. Formally he earning a B.A. in Bible Theology, with a minor in Christian Education and a M.Div. in Pastoral Studies, with a Christian Education cognate. These studies preceded a 10 year career in Church-based Christian Education and Youth Ministry in Western Canada. Doctoral studies in Adult & Higher Education and Training at Ohio State University was followed by a move to Franklin, Tennessee in the late ‘90s.

Since living in Tennessee Dave, has pursued numerous educational roles and opportunities; including a K5-12 Alternative School Teacher, consulting with Christian Colleges and Universities to establish adult and online programs, and two stints as a Corporate Trainer. In addition he has also taught online courses for a Christian College Network, and enjoyed teaching spiritual gift discovery courses at his church.

From his Ohio days, Dave has been a certified soccer referee with US Soccer; and since coming to Tennessee added High School and College certifications. This has led to his newest education role is a certified Referee Training Instructor for US Soccer. As an Instructor, he trains new soccer referees and helps current referees retain their certification in his courses. This added official Instructor role is a great foundation for Mentoring that he does with the referees at the fields as they are officiating their games.

Dave and his wife Jill live in Franklin, Tennessee. He has three adult children and six grandchildren.
