Lee McCroskey, M.A.

Professor of Current Issues in Management, Case Studies in Leadership, Leadership: Theory & Practice, Introduction to Sales, and Literature of C.S. Lewis.

Lee McCroskey has invested 40 years of his life working with college students. Prior to teaching business courses at Williamson College, his career focus was helping college students develop life and leadership skills at the Southwestern Company, a business training program for students.

As Director of Leadership & Sales Development, Lee designed and executed Southwestern’s international training worldwide, helping train more than 100,000 college students there over the course of his career there.

He received his bachelor’s and master’s in English from the University of Kansas, where he was a mild-mannered Comp & Lit lecturer by day, and a member of a glam rock band by night.

When he is out of our classroom, Lee conducts John Maxwell leadership workshops for companies, and is Head of Leadership Development for a global custom clothing company.

In his non-work life, Lee trains and competes with the Excel’s U.S. Masters swim team. He is a deacon at Christ Community Church and a certified storm spotter(!).

He and his wife, Deb, live in Brentwood, Tennessee. They have three adult children who enjoy rock music and correcting people’s grammar.
